Although I am not sold on the upside down tomato I do see some benifits! The small animals cannot get to them! Deer on the other hand will make them their treat. I am working doing a porch with outdoor carpet where the man has a dozen of the upside down tomatoes and they are doing nicely! They look nice around his 36 foot porch in the country at this log cabin which sets on three acres!! +++ There is a filter that stops the soil run off in the planters kits he bought!. What do you think of the method and what would you do to improve them? Suggestions on where to hang them? Does the excess weight cause the plant stress and tear it? Does the planter inself shade it too much or help it cool? What about startin upidedown tomatoes in the greenhouse? Will they start selling upsidedown tomatoes already growing at the stores like lowes? +++ I see in the future many other plants being planted this way!
